Do I have to keep the packaging of the solar shower? Please keep the packaging as this packagingwas specially developed for the safe transport of the solar shower. If the solar shower needs repair, it will arrive at our house without being damaged.More than one time we were forced to resend the packaging to our costumers –this enlarges of course the repair costs.
My solar shower does not produce warm water after winter season – whatcan I do? Please check the mirrow at the lowerend of the vacuum tube (above the silver adapter). If the mirror vapordeposition is white or if there is water in the glass part, please send thesolar show to our company.
If the tube is in good order, pleaseremove the faucet. Now check the blinding of the upper/lower connection –please remove dirt. Please check whether the faucet isinstalled correctly (on top water on/off, on bottom temperature check). If there was no dirt in theblinding, please fix the faucet again correctly. Now open the water intake –water should come out of the higher connection – if not, please send the solarshower to our company.
The solar shower needs at least 5hours sunshine on the tank to warm the water – please make sure there are nohedges, bushes or walls that provide too much shadow.
If the mirror is in good order, there is no dirt in the blinding and the water flow – please wait a littlelonger. Maybe the shower needs some more hours to produce warm water.Especially in spring the heat loss during the night is quite high.
My solar shower does not work anymore – can it be repaired? Yes, please send us your solarshower, we change the damaged parts and send you the repaired product back.When the glass is broken, please make sure that the whole glass is removed, asglass parts may damage other parts of the solar shower. I will be on summer vacation for 2 weeks, do I have to remove the solarshower? The solar shower does not have to beremoved, but please cover the solar shower (with our covering or with any othercovering). I would like to have a different colour, is that possible? Yes, this is possible, we can giveyour shower a different covering panel. Please ask for further information andprices. After winter season my faucet leaks – what can I do? Never leave your faucet outside inwinter season, even a few hours are sufficient to damage the faucet. Pleasecheck the faucet if there are any bulges due to frost. Even theback-pressure-valves in the connections could be contorted or broken.
If there has not been any frost, it might be that sand or other dirt particles block the connection. Please rinsethoroughly for a few minutes – the dirt particles should come out. The used faucet is the Grohtherm1000 of the Grohe company. You can buy a new faucet at Einsiedler Solartechnik,at your merchant, your plumber or your hardware store. Please use high-qualityproducts, cheap products get damaged easily. After winter season my solar shower covering leaks – what can I do? If the upper parts leaks, either thetank pipe was frozen or the pipe is defect. In this case please send us thesolar shower for repair.
If the lower part leaks, the safetyvalve was probably frozen. In this case please send us the solar shower for repair.
It is also possible that sand / dirtparticles block the safety valve. If it is not possible to remove those dirtparticles, please send the shower for repair. After a sunny day there is a wet spot in the dado – do I have to worry? No, you do not have to worry, aswater expands in case of warm temperature – therefore the pressure opens thesafety valve. Suddenly the blue reservoir on the back side turns white – do I have toworry? Please send us the solar shower forrepair. It can either be frost damage or a material fault. We will check whatkind of damage it is. I would like to change the faucet – can I do it on my own? If you bought your solar shower from2008 on, you can do it on your own. If your solar shower is older, we have tochange the faucet for you.
My solar shower wheezes when turning on the water – do I have to worry? Please check the pressure in theconduction – it should be 4.5 bars maximum. If the pressure is higher, pleaseinstall a pressure reducer. Maybe the water supplier increased the waterpressure.
After having a shower I turn of the water supply – is that a good idea? Please do not turn off the watersupply, this might cause vapor within the shower. It might also happen that thehose connection explodes. |
